Missy Finally
I've been a Registered Nurse for a week and a day already. So what have i done so far? Sleep in lectures. Some days, i'm wide awake. Other days, i'm busy swaying left and right as i doze off, scaring the person sitting next to me. That guy is crazy, does he really think i'll land my head on his shoulder? The most likely thing to happen would be for me to drool onto his shoulder with my head still floating above it. HAHA! He must have thought the same too. That explains the dirty sideways glance he gave me when my head threatened to graze his shoulder. But all's cool now 'cause i've moved back to my original seat in the lecture theatre. STICKS OUT TONGUE.

Do i seem indifferent, nonchalant even, towards the transition from being a student nurse to a registered nurse? That's just because reality hasn't slapped me yet. Give me some weeks or so when i'll receive my first verbal bashing from the superiors (surgeons, assistants, senior nurses, cats, dogs, mickey mouse...) and only then will i go, "Holy fish! I'm already a staff nurse!" Then i'll look down at my name tag and i'll see 'Staff Nurse'. It's not a joke anymore. I'm screwed for life.

ON A LIGHTER NOTE (adopts cheery tone and forces facial expression into an excited one but fails and ends up looking constipated with a shrilly voice), i get to go to work and back home with my favourite man! And i'm working five and a half days per week with an offday on Sunday. Morning shifts all the way!

Graduation Day next week. I'll see you people around.
