Blogmarathon Day Six -- Moo Zeek Blogmarathon or no blogmarathon, i blog like nobody's beeswax and it gets so regular i'm wondering if this is as bad as my diarrhoea. I have no topic to work on, no sir. Just got the itch to tap tap tap the key key keys on the bored board. At least on this keyboard, i get words. If i were to go the next room (which is my room but no one would acknowledge that because only the kids go there and there are toys, good God!) there would be another keyboard. But it's the kind which produces sound supposedly but under the magic of my fingers, it'll produce monster sounds. I think you call them noises. That's one thing. Music runs in the family. Well, it sort of runs in the family. But it missed me somehow and so i'm just as musically-talented as the One-Dollar tissue MRT auntie. My dad used to play the sax with the Singapore Malay Orchestra and Kakak used to play the sax too in her school's military band. But then she left my dad's precious mouthpiece or whatchacallit in school and promised to return to her alma mater to retrieve that preciousss thingathing but never did right until the school got burned down by kamikaze construction workers. No it just got demolished actually. My younger sister, Anis, picks up musical instruments damn fast. But then again, she picks up anything and everything fast. She learnt to rollerblade in one day, and learnt to cycle a two-wheeler in less than a day. She picked up harmonica in school as part of the school's culture and played like Taylor Hicks but when she holds the recorder, my ear drums turn kamikaze-ish and just shut off. It's not her, it's the recorder. It's gotta be the worst musical instrument ever. She's taking piano lessons now... only it's not a piano, just a Casio keyboard, and it's not with a piano teacher, just herself and occasionally Kakak. Now if only she'll work that same magic on her Mathematics and Science and languages. Now that leaves Mama, Ihin the bro and myself. Mama's too busy with work and household work to develop any musical talents. Haha. But she used to dance the ronggeng and zapin for example. She's hotttt! Hahaha. We may not share the Hot Mama's interest in tarian, but we're terror in our own ways. Ihin indeed has shown certain traits of superhero-ism. I don't really know la what he does, but he watches enough Power Rangers and Masked Riders to be qualified as terror. Me, i used to practise Aikido. Then i got malas. And left. fara // 20:41 |
